AJL Convention Travel Grants (All/Grant)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to members with financial need. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be current members of AJL at the time of application. Members in the local area are not eligible to apply. Criteria: Applicants are selected based on the committee's review of the application materials.
Funds Avail.: No specific amount. AJL Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To encourage students to train for, and enter, the field of Judaica librarianship. Focus: Archival science. Qualif.: Applicants must be attending an ALA-accredited library school or equivalent; should have an interest in, and demonstrate a potential for, pursuing a career in Judaica librarianship. Criteria: Selection is based on the application.
Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must complete and submit the application form available online and a brief statement about the involvement in Judaic activities.
