Bourin, Jeanne (1922–2004)
French historian and novelist. Born 1922 in Paris, France; died Mar 18, 2004, in Paris; attended Victor-Duruy lycée.
Wrote historical novels set in the Middle Ages, including her greatest success, La Chambre des dames (The Ladies Room, 1979), and its sequel, Le Jeu de la tentation (The Temptation Game, 1981); also wrote Le Grand Feu (The Great Fire, 1985) and La dame de beauté, a biography of Agnes Sorel.
