Bournonville, Jacques de

Bournonville, Jacques de , French harpsichordist and composer; b. probably in Amiens, c. 1675; d. Paris, c. 1754. He was either the grandson or the great-grandson of Jean de Bournonville. He studied with Bernier, and subsequently established himself as a harpsichord player. His motets for 1 and 2 voices with continuo were publ. in 1711.
