Bourgueticrinida (sea lilies; class Crinoidea, subclass Articulata) An order of articulate sea lilies in which the compact calyx (cup) is made up of five basal and five radial plates only. The column consists of elliptical or rounded ossicles which are united by synarthrial articulations. Five or ten arms are present. The order first appeared in the Upper Cretaceous.
