American Composites Manufacturers Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To support individuals involved in the composites industry. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors planning to pursue a degree in accredited four-year colleges or universities. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on personal merit and background (merit is demonstrated in academic achievement; leadership in school; civic and other extracurricular activities; and motivations to serve and succeed).

American Composites Manufacturers Association Western Chapter Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide special services and networking opportunities to member companies in the 13 most western states. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be employees, spouses, children or grandchildren of individuals who are employed by a company located in the 13 most western states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming) that is a member of the ACMA; must be registered full-time students (minimum 12 hours) at an accredited college or university. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on: scholastic aptitude; career objectives; leadership; and extracurricular activities such as community involvement.
Funds Avail.: $2,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit the completed application form; transcript of all college work; statement of educational goals; career intentions and resume of extracurricular activities; work experience; community involvement; and two letters of reference (personal reference and a reference from a professor or teacher). Gary B. Multanen/CM Magazine Scholarships (All/Scholarship)
Purpose: To encourage students to pursue their career in the composites industry. Focus: Engineering; Research. Qualif.: Applicants must be registered full-time at an accredited college or university; and must be in good academic standing; must reside in the United States of America; must be pursuing a degree in engineering, research or other composites-based curriculum; open to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. Criteria: Selection will be based on the committee's review of application materials.
Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Application forms are available at ACMA website. Applicants must also submit: reference from the professor related to or overseeing research; college transcripts (photocopies are acceptable); and composites-related research in the form of a report or paper (no less than 1,500 words).
