Ross Trust Graduate Student Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide support to students preparing for counseling roles in the nation's elementary, middle and secondary schools. Focus: Counseling/Guidance. Qualif.: Applicants must be currently enrolled in either a master's level or a doctoral level program of studies in preparation to work as a professional counselor at the elementary, middle or secondary education level. Criteria: Selection of applicants will be based on the following: (a) Master's-level students must have an outstanding academic performance (based on a minimum of 15 graduate hours completed) and exemplary volunteer activities; (b) Doctoral-level students must have an outstanding academic performance (based on a minimum of 15 graduate hours completed), exemplary volunteer activities in schools and/or community, and scholarly research, writing and presentations.

Funds Avail.: $1,375. Number Awarded: 15. To Apply: Applicants must have a statement of career goals; must provide a description of volunteer experiences in schools and/or the community. For doctoral level scholarships, applicants must have a statement reflecting research, writing and presentation activities.
