SIDELIGHTS:
Devin Brown told CA: "When Inside Narnia came out, I hoped that it would sell enough copies so that my publisher would offer me a contract to write a second Narnia book. Now, after six printings of the first one, I am busy trying to write the second. I wrote the first thirty pages of Not Exactly Normal as part of my master's thesis at the University of Florida and then put it away for twenty years. I always wanted to get back to it and expand it into a novel, and I did it. Beginning writers should take heart, persevere, and keep writing."
