American musician. Name variations: Dixie Chicks. Born Martha Elenor Erwin, Oct 12, 1969, in York, PA; sister of Emily Robinson (member of Dixie Chicks).

Vocalist and fiddle and mandolin player, released back-to-back multiplatinum country albums with Dixie Chicks, Wide Open Spaces (1998) and Fly (1999). Additional albums with Dixie Chicks include Thank Heavens for Dale Evans (1990), Little Ol' Cowgirl (1992) and Shouldn't a Told You That (1993).
