Parlow, Cindy (1978–)

American soccer player. Born Cynthia Marie Parlow, May 8, 1978, in Memphis, TN; attended University of North Carolina.

Won a team gold medal at Atlanta Olympics (1996) and a team silver medal at Sydney Olympics (2000); won a team gold at World Cup (1999); was a founding member of the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA); signed with Atlanta Beat (2001); won a team gold medal at Athens Olympics (2004). Awarded the Hermann Trophy.
