Nixon, Marni (1929–)

American actress and singer. Born Marni McEathron, Feb 22, 1929, in Altadena, CA; m. Ernest Gold (composer),1950 (div. 1969); m. Dr. F. Frederick Fenster (div.); m. Albert Block,1983; children: Martha, Melani, and Andrew Gold.

Began career as a child actress and soloist with Roger Wagner Chorale; provided singing voice (dubbed) for Natalie Wood in West Side Story, Deborah Kerr in An Affair to Remember and The King and I, and Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady; appeared as Sister Sophia in The Sound of Music and as Heidi Schiller in Broadway revival of Follies (2001).
