Canadian-born character actress. Born Nov 10, 1875, in Bronte-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada; died Oct 15, 1960, in Hollywood, California; m. Gene Hill (stage producer, died 1932).
Performed on stage in Canada and in many Broadway productions, including A Pair of Sixes; appeared in over 100 films, including Ruggles of Red Gap, Champagne Waltz, To Be or Not To Be, Bowery to Broadway, Leave It to Blondie and Mother Wore Tights.
