Canadian-born silent-screen actress. Born Nov 20, 1898, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; died Oct 8, 1963, in Hollywood, California.
At 16, made film debut (1914), then starred in the 1st technicolor feature The Gulf Between (1918); made over 50 films, including When Duty Calls, The Other Man, Valley of the Giants and Alimony; also appeared in serials The Hope Diamond Mystery, A Dangerous Adventure and The Shielding Shadow; retired from film (1928).
