American first daughter. Born Oct 3, 1891, in New York, NY; died of diphtheria, Jan 7, 1904, at age 12, in Princeton, New Jersey; dau. of Grover Cleveland (US president) and Frances Folsom Cleveland.
Popularly known as Baby Ruth while living in the White House.
