Full name, Harland Michael Williams; born November 14 (some sources cite December 10), 1962, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; son of John (a politician and lawyer) and Lorraine (a lawyer and writer) Williams; brother of Steve "Spaz" Williams (a director, visual effects technician, and animator); married Wendi Kenya. Education: Studied animation at Sheridan College, Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
