Full name, Cynthia Lee Sikes; born January 2, 1954, in Coffeyville, KS; daughter of Neil and Pat (maiden name, Scott) Sikes; married Alan Bud York in (a director and producer), June 24, 1989. Education: Trained at American Conservatory Theatre, San Francisco, CA, 1977–79. Politics: Democrat. Avocational Interests: Hiking, reading, writing.

Career: Actress. Former beauty pageant contestant. California Service Corps, commissioner, 2005–08; member of Hollywood Women's Political Committee; former member of President Clinton's Advisory Committee on the Arts.
