District-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Wisconsin Technical College System. Awards certificates, diplomas, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1911. Setting: 10-acre urban campus. Campus security: 24-hour emergency response devices and patrols, student patrols, late night transport-escort service, controlled dormitory access. 100 college housing spaces available; all were occupied in 2003-04. Option: coed housing available. Western Wisconsin Technical College Library plus 1 other with 31,243 books, 397 microform titles, 313 serials, 3,750 audiovisual materials, and an OPAC. Operations spending 2003-04: $303,682. 800 computers available on campus for general student use. A campuswide network can be accessed from student residence rooms and from off campus.
