Admiral Mike Boorda Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To help eligible Navy and Marine Corps families pursue their academic goals by providing education grants and interest-free loans. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Student must be enrolled in either: Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP), Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP), or Meritorious Commissioning Program (MCP); must be a high school graduate (or equivalent) and enrolled or accepted as a full-time undergraduate student in a traditional classroom setting at a post-secondary, technical, or vocational institution participating in the U.S. Department of Education's Federal grant and loan program; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale; and must possess a current Navy or Marine Corps Military Identification Card. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.

Dependents of Deceased Service Members Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide educational assistance to spouses and children of members of the Society. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must possess a current military dependent's Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale; must be the immediate relative of an active duty Sailor or Marine who died as a result of the May 17, 1987 attack on the USS Stark, or the spouse of a service member disabled due to the terrorist attack on the USS STARK; the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon; or the death of a Sailor or Marine due to hostile fire in a theater of combat operation during the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT). Criteria: Recipients will be selected based on merits.

Spouse Tuition Aids Program (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To help eligible Navy and Marine Corps families pursue their academic goals by providing education grants and interest-free loans. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Program is open only to spouses residing with active duty service members stationed at overseas locations. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.
Funds Avail.: Up to 50% of tuition for on-base education programs; up to a maximum of $300 per undergraduate term or $350 per graduate term. Not to exceed $1,500/$1,750 per academic year. USS Tennessee Scholarship Fund (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To help eligible Navy and Marine Corps families pursue their academic goals by providing education grants and interest-free loans. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Program is open to unmarried dependent children of sailors currently serving, or have served, aboard the USS Tennessee. Applicants must possess a current military dependent's Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card; must be a high school graduate (or equivalent) and enrolled or accepted as a full-time undergraduate student in a traditional classroom setting at a post-secondary, technical, or vocational institution participating in the U.S. Department of Education's Federal grant and loan program; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.
