American History Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote the study of American history among students. Focus: American history. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating students who want to pursue an undergraduate degree with a concentrated study of a minimum of 24 credit hours in American History and American Government. Criteria: Recipients will be selected by the scholarship committee based on the quality of the application materials submitted.

Funds Avail.: $2,000. To Apply: Applicants must obtain a letter of sponsorship from their local DAR chapter. Application forms and other supporting documents must be completed correctly and submitted in one package. Deadline: February 15.

5063 J.E. Caldwell Centennial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to individuals who wish to pursue their degrees. Focus: Historic preservation. Qualif.: Applicants must be students who plan to pursue their course of graduate study in the field of historic preservation. Criteria: Recipients will be selected by the scholarship committee based on the quality of the application materials submitted.

Enid Hall Griswold Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage students to pursue an undergraduate degree. Focus: Political science; History; Government; Economics. Qualif.: Applicants must be juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States; pursuing a major in political science, history, government, or economics. Criteria: Recipients will be selected by the scholarship committee based on the quality of the application materials submitted.
