Ticinese School

Ticinese School. Group of architects working in the Ticino region of Switzerland from the 1960s, concerned with a reconsideration of architectural style and a greater historical awareness. Among the more influential members were Botta, Reichlin, and Rossi. The School promoted Rational architecture. See also tendenza.
