CAREER: Poet, painter, sculptor, and composer. Has given poetry readings in Japan, Australia, and France, and at universities throughout the United States. University of Massachusetts, visiting lecturer, 1973; Columbia University, visiting writer, 1976; also visiting writer at University of Pittsburgh; conducted workshops in writing, art, and collaborative poetry.
