Randegger, Alberto Jr.
Randegger, Alberto Jr. , Italian violinist and composer, nephew of Alberto Randegger Sr.; b. Trieste, Aug. 3, 1880; d. Milan, Oct. 7, 1918. He accompanied his uncle to London and appeared as a violinist at an Orch. concert conducted by the latter. After taking courses at the Royal Cons. of Music, he lived in Milan. He composed a short opera, L’ombra di Werther (Trieste, 1899), as well as a Violin Concerto, piano pieces, and songs.
