Milford, Robin (Humphrey)

Milford, Robin (Humphrey), English composer and teacher; b. Oxford, Jan. 22, 1903; d. Lyme Regis, Dec. 29, 1959. He was a student of Hoist, Vaughan Williams, and R.O. Morris at the Royal Coll. of Music in London. Thereafter he was active as a composer and teacher. He was best known for his chamber music, choral pieces, and songs.
