Kozma, Matei
Kozma, Matei, Romanian organist and composer; b. Tîrgu-Mure§, July 23, 1929. He acquired the rudiments of music from his father, Géza Kozma, a composer and cellist, then studied at the Cluj Cons. (1947–54), where his teachers were Jodal and Demian. He was organist (1955–57) and director (1959–66) of the Tîrgu-Mures, Phil.; then taught at the Music Inst. there.
