Hardelot, Guy d' [ Mrs. W. I. Rhodes, née Helen Guy] (b Hardelot, Boulogne, 1858; d London, 1936). Fr. composer. Toured USA with Calvé, 1896. After marriage, settled in London. Wrote many songs (incl. Because, 1902) which went into repertory of Melba, Calvé, Plançon, Maurel, and others.
