Grozăvescu, Trajan
Grozăvescu, Trajan, Romanian tenor; b. Lugoj, Nov. 21, 1895; d. (murdered) Vienna, Feb. 15, 1927. He studied in Bucharest and Cluj. After making his debut in Cluj as Pinker ton in 1920, he continued his vocal studies in Vienna with F. Steiner. He made appearances with the Vienna Volksoper, the Prague National Theater, and the Vienna State Opera. He was shot to death by his wife.
