Ferrari, Carlotta
Ferrari, Carlotta, Italian composer; b. Lodi, Jan. 27, 1837; d. Bologna, Nov. 23, 1907. She studied with Strepponi and Mazzucato at the Milan Cons., and then devoted herself to the composition of operas to her own librettos. The following operas were produced: Ego (Milan, 1857), Sofia (Lodi, 1866), and Eleanora d’Armorea (Cagliari, 1871).
