Dumitrescu, Gheorghe
Dumitrescu, Gheorghe, Romanian composer and pedagogue, brother of Ion Dumitrescu; b. Oteani, Dec. 27, 1914; d. Bucharest, Feb. 20, 1996. He studied at the Bucharest Cons. (1934–41), where he served as a prof, of harmony from 1951 until 1979.
