Baston, Josquin

Baston, Josquin, composer who flourished in the mid- 16th century. He most likely was active in the Netherlands. Among his extant works are 12 Latin motets for four to six Voices, 29 chansons for three to six Voices, and six Dutch songs for four Voices. Some of his works were publ. by Phalèse and Susato.
