Suslova, Nadezhda (1845–1916)

Russian doctor. Born in Russia, 1845; died 1916; dau. of a serf; attended Medical Faculty, University of Zurich, qualifying in 1867.

Russian medical pioneer, studied medicine at the University of Zurich and became the 1st Russian woman physician.
