Made stage debut at the Théâtre Molière in Brussels; than appeared in Paris in Bernstein's Le Détour (1902); appeared in several plays by Bernstein and two by Rostand (Chantecler and L'Aiglon); made London debut in an English version of L'Adversaire (1905) and NY debut in The Thief (1911); other plays include Frou-Frou, The Paper Chase, Le Secret, Pétard, La jeune fille aux Jones Roses, La Rafale, Le Passé and Les femmes savantes.
