French actress. Name variations: Simone; Mme Simone; Mme Simone Le Bargy; Pauline Benda. Born Pauline Benda, April 3, 1877, in Paris, France; died in 1985; m. Claude Casimir-Perier, 1909.

Made stage debut at the Théâtre Molière in Brussels; than appeared in Paris in Bernstein's Le Détour (1902); appeared in several plays by Bernstein and two by Rostand (Chantecler and L'Aiglon); made London debut in an English version of L'Adversaire (1905) and NY debut in The Thief (1911); other plays include Frou-Frou, The Paper Chase, Le Secret, Pétard, La jeune fille aux Jones Roses, La Rafale, Le Passé and Les femmes savantes.
