Rogge, Florence (b. 1904)

American choreographer. Born 1904 in Detroit, MI.

Trained with Luigi Albertieri, Michio Ito, Theodore Kosloff and Ella Dagnova; performed as soloist at Roxy Theater under Gae Foster for 4 years; served as ballet choreographer at Radio City Music Hall in New York City (1932–52), working in close collaboration with Rockettes director Russell Markert and general producer Leon Leonidoff; choreographed large number of ballet sequences throughout career including best known Snowflakes and Undersea Ballets.
