Irish memoirist. Born Nuala O'Faolain, 1940, in Dublin, Ireland; attended Oxford and University College Dublin.
Was a producer and on-air personality for Ireland's Radio Telefis Éireannl; for 10 years, wrote a column for the Irish Times; published the bestselling Are You Somebody? The Accidental Memoir of a Dublin Woman (1996); also wrote Almost There: The Onward Journey of a Dublin Woman and the novel, My Dream of You.
