Henry Windsor (1900–1974), 1st duke of Gloucester (3rd son of George V and Mary of Teck), Nov 6, 1935; children: William Windsor also known as Prince William of Gloucester (1941–1973); Richard Windsor (b. 1944), 2nd duke of Gloucester.
Helped lift morale on homefront during WWII; lived in Australia with husband while he was governor general there (1945–47); returned to England and maintained official duties until her death.
