New Zealand landowner and farmer. Name variations: Huhana (Susan/Susanna) Jury. Born Te Aitu-o-te-rangi, c. 1820, in Wairarapa, New Zealand; died 1854; dau. of Te Whatahoronui and his wife, Aromea; m. John Milsome Jury, 1840 (died 1902); children: 4.
Forced off ancestral lands by tribal wars, returned with husband to claim them, building home there on Te Urera (Jury's Island), where they farmed and raised cattle.
