American rock musician. Name variations: L7. Born Aug 5, 1966, in Los Angeles, California.

Bass player and vocalist in punk-metal rock band L7, was 1st enlisted by Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner to play bass with drummer Roy Koutsky (1986); with group, released L7 debut album (1988), added Dee Plakas as drummer (1988), and replaced Koutsky; toured US and Britain as opening act for Nirvana, released Smell the Magic (1990) with hit single "Shove/Packin' A Rod," and had major success with Bricks Are Heavy (1992), which featured international pop hit "Pretend We're Dead," followed by Hungry for Stink (1994); began solo career (1996).
