Queen of Essex. Name variations: St. Cinefwintha; St. Cyneswith. Daughter of Penda the Pagan and Cynewise.

After being taken in good faith by King Offa I of Essex, persuaded him to become a monk. Offa I ruled jointly with his brother in 709.
