American diarist. Born Nov 21, 1743, in Braintree, Massachusetts; died 1811; niece of Abigail Smith Adams; married a cleric; raised a family in Weymouth.
Wrote The Journal of Elizabeth Cranch, during a visit to relatives in Haverhill, MA (1785–86).
