Fox, Marietta Newton (1928-1996)
American psychologist active in the field of parapsychology. Fox was born January 18, 1928, at Bradford, Pennsylvania. She studied psychology at the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio (B.A., 1950), after which she became a researcher at the Parapsychology Laboratory at Duke University. She joined the staff of the Institute of Living, Hartford, Connecticut, in 1952. From 1953 to 1954, she was a schoolteacher in Wheaton, Illinois. She was a charter associate of the Parapsychological Association.
