Rhaphidophoridae (camel crickets, cave crickets; order Orthoptera, suborder Ensifera) Family of wingless, cricket-like insects, most species of which have very slender, elongate legs, and antennae which are longer than the body. They are rather hump-backed. All species live in moist environments, and they often dwell in caves. They are distributed from warmer regions to circum-arctic areas.
