Lindeman's efficiency
Lindeman's efficiency (gross ecological efficiency) The ratio of energy assimilated at one trophic level to that assimilated at the preceding trophic level; the ratio of energy intake at successive trophic levels. It is one of the earliest and most widely applied measures of ecological efficiency.
