Indo-Malesian rain forest The rain forest found in western India and Sri Lanka, parts of continental south-east Asia, the Malay Peninsula, and the Malay archipelago, with outliers in Queensland, Australia. It is differentiated from the other rain forests by its floristic composition. Large areas of the Indo-Malesian rain forest have been cleared. See African rain forest and American rain forest.
