Cydippidea
Cydippidea (Cydippida; phylum Ctenophora, class Tentaculata) An order of ctenophorids which possess a body that may be slightly compressed. There are two retractable tentacles at the opposite end of the body to the mouth. Only one species adopts an endoparasitic (see PARASITISM) mode of life.
