Cryptogramma (family Adiantaceae) A genus of ferns in which the fertile and sterile fronds are different but both have 2 or more pinnae. Sori are borne on the tips of veins below, protected by the reflexed leaf margin, and merging when mature into a continuous band. There are 4 species native to the alpine and boreal parts of the northern hemisphere.
