Calocera (order Dacrymycetales) A genus of fungi which form upright, cylindrical or tapering, branched or unbranched, orange or yellow, more or less gelatinous fruit bodies. They are found on tree-stumps, logs, etc., in woodland; C. viscosa grows on softwood, while C. cornea is common on hardwood.
