SOMLYÓ, ZOLTÁN
SOMLYÓ, ZOLTÁN (1882–1937), Hungarian poet. Tried to earn his livelihood by writing and had a lifelong struggle against poverty. His lyric poetry is founded on the feeling of love and the Jewish feeling of loneliness. He wrote Az àtkozott költö ("The accursed poet," 1911).
