Kilesa

Kilesa, Kleśa (Pāli, Skt., ‘defilement’). In Buddhist doctrine, moral and intellectual faults. There is no formal list in the Suttas but the Abhidharma lists ten: greed (lobha), ill will (dosa), delusion (moha), conceit (māna), speculative views (diṭṭhi), sceptical doubt (vicikicchā), mental torpor (thīna), restlessness (uddhacca), lack of shame (ahirika), and lack of moral dread (anottappa).
