Huang-tʾing Ching

Huang-tʾing Ching (Chin., ‘treatise on the yellow castle’). A Taoist work, c.3rd cent. CE, describing the deities of the body (shen), and also the practices which lead to immortality (e.g. chʾi and fang-shih). The recitation of the title invokes the deities and wards off evil from the body.
