Félix Auguste Delaherche (fālēks´ ōgüst´ dəläârsh´), 1857–1940, French potter. He is considered the greatest ceramist since Bernard Palissy. Working alone in the village of La Chapelle-aux-Pots, he made no duplicates, fired his kiln but once a year, and destroyed every piece with which he was dissatisfied. His works were of dark red stoneware with stylized ornamentation, roughened surfaces, and sparkling polychrome glazes.
