CAREER: Worked for thirty years as a pilot, commercial flight instructor, and advanced ground instructor; private consultant on human performance for twenty years. Worked as high school teacher of algebra, physics, and biology, as high school girls' basketball trainer, and as high school girls' coach for football, track, and cross-country events; worked at the university level as associate professor of applied anatomy, physiology of exercise, kinesiology, biomechanics, neuroanatomy, and energetics, and as a girls' basketball and gymnastics trainer, including instruction at Oklahoma State University in the 1970s; also worked in aviation as an aerobatic competition coach. Trained in aircraft crash survival investigation, aircraft accident investigation and prevention, and aviation safety. Volunteer coach of high school girls' cross-country team.
MEMBER: International Aerobatic Club (chair of human factors, 1988-2000), Experimental Aircraft Association, U.S.A. Track and Field, U.S.A. Cycling Foundation.
