Jordanian Progressive Party
JORDANIAN PROGRESSIVE PARTY
Palestinian-Jordanian socialist political party (al-Hizb al-Taqaddumi al-Urduni), founded in 1990 following a split in the Jordanian People's Democratic Party, or HASHD. Its leading figures were Ali Amr, Salah Raafat, and Yussef Hurani. The secretary general in 2004 is Fawaz al-Zubi.
